AnonD-292154, 26 Oct 2017Note 8 looks much better then the iPhone 7 . You got that ... more“Looks better” Who cares? This is quite subjective to be honest... You know what? I also plan to buy the iPhone 7+ or 8+ (not joking). In my opinion the iPhone is more refined and better, and Android is boring to me.. am I crazy? Yes, maybe... Will I like it? Who knows... Do I want to try it? YES, definitely!

fullstrength, 26 Oct 2017The LG G6, and V30 are the best phones now . Samsung is too... moreThe quality is rubbish , thats the first thing they should address before rushing phones out to be first at each new innovation or Chipset.

I haven't used an LG phone but the V30 is a great phone. From some videos I've seen, it seems like not all V30s have screen problems, which seems to be the only major issue. That Quad DAC and wide angle camera is glorious! Definitely getting an LG soon even if its only for the DAC.

The LG G6, and V30 are the best phones now . Samsung is too popular. LG just needs to pull in more market share. Really the G6 and V30 could bring them up to samsung level .

The G6 Is competing with the oneplus 5 that's why it's doing well. But the v30 don't stand a chance with the s8, note 8 and iPhones

Anonymous, 26 Oct 2017The only people who uses LGs are the ones that got it for z... moreThe people who use LG -or any other android OEM but Samsung-, are people who are not susceptible to massive advertising and sellers in retail stores trying to sell you either an iPhone or a Samsung. These people inform themselves which phone suits best to them.

AnonD-708970, 26 Oct 2017Thats because LG is the worst in market coverage if I can d... moreThey definitely should have marketed the v30 more, focusing on the design and durability (ip68 and mil-std certified).
Definitely my favourite 18:9 screen design.

LG is fair with prices and they do what they can, i belive someday sammy and apple got burned and LG will be the best, people need and should open theyr eyes since other "big" company's are greedy and capitalism pay for itself.

Thats because LG is the worst in market coverage if I can describe it in two words. Just look at the hype which started in August, 2017 when they announced V30 and how they dealt with it. Instead of making huge profit they have gained nothing, because most markets, like whole EU for example, have not been covered at all and no exact dates of availability have been announced. 1.5 months after V30 was announced I sold my OP5 thinking that V30 is my next phone and it will become available any time soon, but instead of getting the V30, I ended up buying IP7+ considering how well it is priced (560 EUR without VAT) at the moment. I am pretty sure that I am not the only customer they have lost + with all those screen issues coming out they definitely missed a chance to be one of the best selling phone in Q3 of 2017, since I believe V30, even with all its screen issues, is the best mobile phone ever made by LG and most definitely the best 18:9 aspect ratio phone considering its cool more like 16:9 form factor .. in comparison look how Huawei handles its business - they announced Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro on October 16, 2017 and as promised starting from November countries that were enlisted in the "first wave" will have them ready for delivery (all "first wave" countries have Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro ready for pre-order). Now, since I am not completely sold on IOS, IP7+, although I love the overall experience with it (premium feel, design, camera quality), I am even contemplating to switch from my current IP7+ to Mate 10 and V30 is no longer an option, since Mate 10 has 16:9 aspect ratio and the sickest screen to body ratio's out-there (that some crazy real usable screen real estate and not that "hot-dog" style shit that you get on S8+/Note 8 with 18:9.5 aspect ratio where videos are cropped/zoomed in)..

The only way they can increase their profits for the mobile division is to price their phones competitively, fix all their issues with quality control and advertise the hell out of their smartphones like samsung and apple
