I have told the details from benchmark's PoV. which is what the person I responded to asked in the comments. what really matters as you claim is real world speed. which indeed I agree with you. is FAR more crucial than some scrawny numbers. plus. (A9/~2500) but not the hurricane (A10/~3500) and DEFINITELY not the Monsoon (A11/~4300) and how sad to realise that a Mistral core is the same preformance as a Kryo 280! o_O
So let's get shit done if you dislike descriptions:
Kryo 3xx > Twister, Kryo 3xx < Hurricane, Kryo 3xx < Monsoon.

Apple iPhones preoccupation is a bottom up look so the focus is only on benchmarks, a top down comparison would leave iPhones with many un-ticked boxes especially the lack of memory expansion and media / file sharing
If one if the phones is an iPhone you need a computer to sync or upgrade to the other phone

The article states that the 845 will offer "little" over the 835, so I worry that the S9 may only tweak the features it offers over the S8, screen size and faster processor or more ram should not be the only basis, so if others get the 845 why worry.
Within Android I accept that other flagship phones have posted impressive benchmarks, this us a tradeoff pay $X to have an S8 or it isn't worth it for the additional features that may be offered
My point is that coming off the now dead Windows phone I have to look at every single Android
The Nokia 8 posted benchmarks just behind the OnePlus 5 but above the Google Pixel.
The Nokia 8 Imo is a better choice (like the S8 all are Snapdragon 835) but the Nokia 8 has memory expansion)
The S8 was shown to be faster than the IPhone 8 video posted here, If the. S8 is fast am I going to be short changed if the S9 is marginally faster

PS: a single atom is 100 picometer. so I don't think we'll be able to get any tinyer than this. ^^;

Qualcomm chips are used in a variety of devices and software for phones, tablets, modems/routers, TV, computers (Chromebook), streaming sticks, etc. Therefore, they have standard/universal use in mind. Apple chips are tailored for just iOS.

Let see if it's single core score on geekbench can at least match Apple A9 single core, yes that a processor apple had 2 years ago. Don't even want to talk about A11 Chip because we all know it will never reach that number.
