I'm sure that in January-March as S9 launch will get closer you'll be better of buying an S8 than a 5T. S8 price will drop 10-20% as OnePlus have the rule of maintaining the launch price all the way.
If 5T is not priced exactly like 5, being launched ~6months after, OnePlus is plain stupid. They will shoot themselves in the foot with this launch...

I personally hate it and I want them to continue with 3T design or bring something new to the table. I am using OP5, I hate it's design. Looks Damm cheap. Forces to use cover but when it comes to overall phone experience I am more than satisfied. Their every update improves even the smallest issues and that's the reason I believe one plus won't fail in near future. They have failed only in design but overall no other brand gives better value for money than it. I would like to see better alternative to OP5 or 3T in it's price range. Surprisingly there are none.

If 5 was a mis-step, we should wait till 5T's reviews are out. Dont understand the aggrevation here.

Ok, so this time oneplus is not inspired by iPhone. After Oneplus 5T launch, will people buy Oneplus 6 or they'll wait for 'T' version. As in the case of iPhone 8 and iPhone X. Seriously after Oneplus 3t launch I was feeling cheated as Oneplus 3 owner. Now, the thing which differs them from their sister companies oppo & vivo is almost finish. They have same camera and design as oppo. They are spending more money on advertising. Their customer service is so poor. I hope that Oneplus 6 will not be a selfie focused phone.

Inshort they invest money to make their phones look unique. And what oneplus do? they copy designs of most beautiful phone of the year(hard work of others).
This all started with 1+3,...they copied HTC one M9, then 1+5 came...copy of iPhone, and now when samsung S8 is the most beautiful device of this year...it was a easy guess that this time they'll copy it.
So what i can observe....Oneplus's strategy is to target customers who are willing to invest around $500 for a cheap version of best looking smartphone of the year.
