1. Bad assemble and support decline ( "natural" jelly effect due to screen upside down)
2. Bad camera. We all remember what Carl Pei posted fake night shots. It was NOT 1+5. What about DxO collaboration? Lie.
3. Cheating in benchmarks. They think all geeks are dumb and like just numbers, fake or not.
4. Old hardware. Screen from 3T? Wow, cool.
5.Proprietary quick charging. Just to sell highly overpriced own chargers.
6. Phone have nothing to justify heavy overprice. Absolutely nothing special - just average chinaphone.
7. Paid bots and trolls from OP everywhere every time they start to promote new chinaphone. It's disgusting and so obvious.
Enough? Or, maybe
8. They shamelessly steal your data and even don't use SSL coding to secute your very private data.

I bought the OnePlus 5 but it felt so weird comparing them side by side then having to sell the 3T. It almost felt like i was letting go of the better phone lol. As far as performance goes the OP5 is just fantastic though.

If the price for the 6GB/64GB version is really $550 then it's STILL worth it. What has me raising an eyebrow is the $100 price spike when trying to get the 128GB.. Last year it was only a $60 to upgrade the RAM & memory so i'm guessing they're trying to be more in line with other companies like Samsung and Apple? Good for them, but not good for us consumers. With that being said the 6GB/64GB should be enough for most people and it's kind of crazy talking about it like it's just sooo inferior to other devices lol. Considering most have only gone up to 4GB of RAM and only a few offer 64GB as the base model.
I'll be holding onto my Midnight black OP5 128GB version for a while. It's the best performer i have ever used and simply won't be fair to get rid of it so soon.

Other than design, people really don't have any strong point against One plus. Some complained about prices and Yes I agree they have increased their price so does other brands. When one plus one was launched it's price was almost 50 to 60 % to Samsung or iPhone falsghip. Today also it maintained the same price with decent specs. Yes the prices of cellphones for all brands are increasing day by day but if you want great specs you have to pay some price for it. I think one plus won't face any problems until it maintains it's 50 to 60 % prices of big brand flagships. And yes I also really don't like their copied design. I wish they just made minor modifications to 3T design and continued with it. It was unique and beautiful.

If they keep the price the same as the OnePlus 5 then that is great and a serious contender. If they increase the price then perhaps pay the extra for the S8

Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus now have unified copycat design. Find one difference from OPPO R11S. It's black. That's all. And OPPO brand specialized on iPhone design copying for many years.

OnePlus no longer comes cheap, if I shell out $650 for a phone I'd go smaller Pixel 2 in faver of superior camera and software.
