Dem excuses Johnny, dem excuses.
TouchWiz, GraceUX, Samsung Experience, whatever you call it, it's the same thing; a software that is only good on first few days then slows down after some months.

Just compare the speed of the S5 to the Z2 and you'll realize that you've always been living in a big denial.
Anyway why should I bother replacing my old Xperia Z? It's still running like a champ, that could compete still against the latest of this year in stability and fluidity.

The first generation of Google Assisstant has always been better than any Samsung AI anyway, so no thank you.

And while it may only be 0.2 seconds, it can do it.

Sony Fanboy Bitches, 04 Nov 2017Doing all of these in just under 2 months is an insane duty... moreWho are you kidding? Sony's user interface has hardly changed since 2010. Same goes for their smartphone design!
Just see for yourself.. Compare Samsung Galaxy S/S2 vs S8 and do same for Sony Xperia Z (2012) vs XZ1/XZs (2017).
Samsung was a shitty phone manufacturer back in 2012 and SONY was way cooler. But now, the fortunes have turned. Inspite of all odds, Samsung kept on innovating and now they're at the top of the game! Each and every flagship released by Samsung since the original Galaxy S looks different than the previous generation. This shows the level of innovation and work that they're putting in since the past 6-7 years! I won't even count s8
            as a smartphone, It's a masterpiece!

I've used several phones, with different Android Skin, from Lenovo, Xiaomi, to Sony. In my Opinion, Xperia launcher is the best.

It is so brazen for Sony to keep selling phones that has never been updated since last year (eg the C4, C5, etc), tricking consumers into buying unsupported devices. Shame on you Sony.

because they dont have many engineers to spend more time on stabilizing their softwares.

This is rubbish. Steps 1 - 4 should take days to two weeks combined. No more.

The problem is their process. Testing takes place at the end? The results in very long regression testing times and even longer debugging times because the engineer doesn't know exactly which component to look at, so they have to work backwards the the component layers (application(s), common OS libraries, firmware, hardware).

No wonder it takes Sony so long to get the new release out the door. This is a monolithic model of doing software/firmware development and testing. Why isn't testing done incrementally? This would allow them to Q.A. each component independently and make troubleshooting and regression testing much easier.

Also, much of the software and some of the firmware testing (in conjunction with emulators when available) could be automated utilizing dev-ops tools which have been available for quite a few years now.

Update your process Sony. Dev/Test costs will go down and you'll be faster to market.

Doing all of these in just under 2 months is an insane duty for Sony.
Samsung would probably release the same infographic map, except they'll add the development of new gimmicks and unnecessary features that are of no use in actual usage of a smartphone.
