Such good news. As a axon 7 owner I couldn't be happier with the value of the phone

Axon 7 was a great phone.... but "incredibly successful"?

ZTE: "We are incredible.... incredibly successful....so bigly successful, you won't believe it. No one does success like us. So massively successful, You have never seen success like this before. It's YUGE, I'm telling you. We have made ZTE great again."

[deleted post]Those with swelled batteries? No thanks. Android customers don't buy closed ecosystems with crappy features. And love to play with the total control of their smartphones, not be controlled by a company.

I meant full front screen protector covering all the front. Axon 7 system + screen protector = ugly result. If you have an Axon 7 or you search about screen protectors for that phone... you find immediately that it's a break deal for those who don't like the flip covers.

I could have easily bought the Axon 7 if it was only available in the country. I hope they work on its availability to the rest of the world

The ZTE Axon 7 was the best phone of 2016.
It was superior to the OnePlus 3 and the 3t.

It even holds its own against 2017's OnePlus 5 and LG G6.

I only wish they tweak it slightly such as:
            May 2018 release
            QSD 845 SoC
            Stock-ish Android 8.0 Oreo ROM
            8GB RAM / 64GB UFS 2.0
            microSD and IP68 protection
            80% Screen-to-Body OLED display
            5.7in 16:9 display (bigger videos/smaller phone)
120Hz 1080p screen (better battery life and faster games)
            4,000mAh non-removable battery
Keep those awesome DAC and front speakers, and the 3.5mm aux port
All-Glass front, Aluminium sides and Back (better drop resistance)
Make it easy to service/repair (screen and battery access.... it's a good compromise to make to have accidental water protection).

Such a device listed above would live up to the Axon 7 heritage. It would be one of the best devices of 2018, and it would even contend with 2019 devices.

I hope that they'll maintain stereo speakers, good SoC and OIS in the camera. If they improve the grid of the stereo speakers with metal and change the structure to allow full screen protector it'll be a win win. They should release it at least with Oreo 8.1. Zte for the updates...

I liked the axon 7 now hyoed about axon8

If they can make their batteries last longer then maybe they'll start gaining more relevance.

Before they announce an Axon 8, how about announcing Android 8, for the Axon 7.

If they want my money the second time, they need to support the money I already gave them.
