AnonD-117940, 07 Nov 2017But Iphone x disply made by Samsung.ha haApple uses their display and makes a better camera with their very own technology that’s more of an insult to Samsung. Droidbiys shooting themselves in the foot again.

So much controversies in this news.

The related article section pointed me to "Samsung S8 has best display ever by DisplayMate" and that said that S8 can reach 1020 nits. This article mentions iPhone X with 634 nits the highest. Both have OLEDs. So can anyone explain? (not being sarcastic)

The display used in iPhone x is what Samsung was using in S5. Apple could go for more expensive curved display but they didn't to save code, now we can't believe that S5 display (400+ ppi) is better than S8 (570 ppi)... Displays used in S8 and Note 8 are the latest super amoled tech and the best displays ever made by Samsung. A sold site calling an older display from Samsung better than UHD TVs which includes Samsung's q-led display ( something far better than oled which Samsung is considering for 2019-20 flagship phones) its really unacceptable. We aren't blind display mate.

Would rather choose slcd or ips over smoked, no matter how good the amoled is.

And this costs how much? I paid $0 USD for mine and I'm happy with LaOS, without the prison iOS is. Wouldn't use this even if you gave to me, the notch and all.
