Nokia has become Micro$oft's pets. They'll be absorbed by M$ in a short time, just wait and see. Embrace, Expand and Exterminate is M$'s strategy. Looks like they're currently in the 'Embrace' Stage with Nokia.

I read someone post, "so now, why would you get WP7?". The reason why is because WP7 is new, cool and smart. Consumers demand choices... I myself was thrilled, when i saw the new operating system/user interface (WP7)come out with. Now with Nokia on board, all that has to happen is: Nokia to produce their quality models, higher camera megapixel phones and dual core processors (all of this with Microsoft approval/raising their phone requirements,of course).

All of this, I'm sure will happen after the "Mango" release. It will be time soon for someone to step down, Windows Phone has arrived.

This is why we get WP7 and not Android...

I don't think that iOS has been ported to Texas Instruments OMAP architecture yet. So I doub it will run in N9. Meego and Android might run on it. Currently N9 runs Maemo 6

There are already quad-core android smartphones being developed. At least one quad-core device is going to be released in 2011. Also, new Android version is coming at the end of this year, bringing even more features and improvements.

I don't think it's possible to boot iOS on anything than iDevice because it's not open-source.

So now, why do you want this WP7 smartphone?

this is obvious, you all people saying that nokia can survive making just hardware? Soon there will be plenty chines companies with cheap hardware. Even Samsung is better quality. Remember this nokia without software is nothing and this is what will happen. This is what is Elop doing. If nokia pull out meego they will loose everything.

It won't be a leaked video. This is for time killing.nokia got the permision to change the UI,and they won't do anything? No way? This is not a finalised ui.

Good motivational speech from Elop (see the full lenght source video), BUT: demoing a new Nokia W7 phone and then only showing some standard apps? Everyone else who makes W7 phones could have done the same. They could have blown us away but outlining some Nokia inventions/specifics/unique advantages or similar. But this? Will the BA flight booking app NOT run on an HTC W7 phone? I guess it will. Boring.

The billions given by Microsoft can never compensate for 20 billion stock devaluation since the "feb strategy announcement".

The guy who shot this vdo was probably very visible to Elop, when he asked to "turn of all cameras and recording devices".

This "confidential wp7 demo" vdo leak is just the same as the "burning platform" memo leak.

The timing is meant to kill products that actually look good.

This "confidential wp7" vdo is timed to kill the enthusiasm for N9 and Meego.
