    1. its a nokia & nokia hardware are the best (using nokia for the last 7 years {E50, N97, E66,N900 & C7} and still very pleased)
    2. having windows mobile will be a great benefit in terms of syncs. & other stuff to my Widows opperated laptop.
    3. the combination of two market leaders (Nokia & Windows) will benefit the two comanies to formulate the best UI & softwares that we need.
    Bravo Nokia

I can see how famous and hot N9 is. It was announced 3 days ago and it got almost 360,000 hits in just 3 days (130,000 hits per day.) From 3,200 votes back in June 20. And now 10,672 votes. WOW. Today N9 already have 66,357 hits (compared to SGII's 38,568) N9 has 95% daily interest compared to SGII's 55%(its a drop on percentage for SGII since the announcement of N9) It took weeks for SGII to have 106 +1 while N9 has +106 already in just 3 days. WOW. I can see how Nokia is famous.

                  one more detail.
i remember when this "gentleman" Stephen Elop, made public a statement, saying that all smartphones look the same.......
lets hold our hands and think for a moment......
is this device so diferent from android devices? in terms of design?
because at a first glance it looked like a black brick with windows mango on it.
so let's hope this new wide range of nokia devices won't turn on windows/nokia bricks, otherwise they won't give nothing new to public.
i wonder how many nokia brick phones like theese i should use to build a small house.... lol....

                          OK, what did i miss???
This is N9 with one extra button, and i already saw beautifull UI of MeeGo OS! So, what is this?? Same phone with WinPhone OS....hm....
I dont see logic in this, having two exactly same looking phones with different OS??!!
I say this bcause i liked a loooot first pictures of WinPhone Nokia phone, its design with curvatures of nokia C3 (find those pictures to know what im talking about).
This is very nice looking phone, i just say that first pictures of nokias winphone was nicer..

This might be fake because it looks like N9 running WP7(.1)...
But, considering nice looks of N9, it might be a smart and economically good move to pack all new software in same hardware - and you get two phones with price of hardware design of one. Something SE have done with Vivaz (pro) and Xperia neo (pro)... nice trick Nokia (and SE)
Also I would like to see those European phone manufacturers to come back because I'm consumer for a long time, in fact from the beginnings, and in my experience, only Ericsson and Nokia have had genuine ideas, bold industrial design and most importantly - customer adapted software! so it was looking like those phones had "the soul" or personality... you might get what I mean if you owned Ericsson T10, T28 or 6800, 8210, 8910 or 3310, 5210...

I'm thinking the N9 will be a duel boot. Running both windows and meego. :) this will be a major attraction. They won't release two same phones. That's too stupid for Nokia to do. Let's wait and see what they have to offer. I'm currently waiting for my Anna update. Hope it won't get delayed anymore. :)

phone7 to phone8?, 24 Jun 2011would windows phone 8 devices be eligible for a windows pho... moreWell, since Windows Mobile 6.5 devices could not get upgraded to WP7 (since they put a minimum hardware requirement cap on WP7), so I'm guessing they will do the same when it comes to WP8. If you think about it, Windows does not bother to give Windows 7 at subsidized prices to those people who bought original windows vista. They never have, and they never will. Google has more dev support than any other mobile OS for 1 reason- Its OPEN SOURCE. Anyone who's interested and has some programming skills can design roms, apps. WP7 took months to just bring Angry Birds (I'm not even sure if they have it now). No manufacturer has bothered to launch a new WP7 phone in the past few months. The sale of Android far surpasses WP7, and this is why Nokia will again crash and burn. I'm no Android hater. I've never used anything other than a Nokia in my life. But not bringing Android to Nokia is the worst decision they have ever made. Their excuse was to not get lost in the Android rat-race, but instead they were pushed out of the race altogether.
