Clear benefits of offering near stock Android. You don't have to rewrite whole OS after each update, delaying the whole thing for months. This is how EVERY phone should be updated.

Wow Nokia just put Samsung, the professional smartphone manufacturer, into shame.
A new kid in Android town has just wrecked them in software and updates, imagine what can Nokia and HMD do further in the future when they finally learn how today's market works.

I really hope nokia can come back stronger and that this nokia 8 will be the stepping stone for that hope to come to fruition. I'd rather have a nokia than an lg or the current crop of sony phones any day.

I am using the Nokia 8 for Around 2 weeks now. This Phone makes sense in all angles. Performance silky smooth. Good Camera, although colour mode at low light has a hard time focusing and low fps. Battery lasts over a day off office use, including gaming at break hours. fast charging is great. One hour it gets me around 80% juice. Standby battery is very good. No heating issues. (Never felt over 35 deg C). feel of holding is awesome. Brand Value, Low cost, proper security patches and timely updates. Thats definitely worth the buck. As Nokia is offering android Oreo and upto Android P, also the old Lumia Camera UI to come. Simply this is the future proof phone in the market now that makes sense. I am amazed people still consider Chinese brand phones.

Nokia did limit the Nokia n8 camera too, which got opened later through update. I hope it will be the same this time.
