Some Apple iPhone X OLED screens plagued by green lines

12 November 2017
Given that the issue takes some time to develop, it’s hard to estimate how wide-spread it is.

LMAO!!! Pixel XL 2 and iPhone X all suffer burn-ins. I think you got what you deserve. Poetic Justice! I hope Sony with its old fashion OGZO LCD will have the last laugh.

Google's Nexus ... moreHi, the only shortage in my cheap android phone is lack of updates for operating system! that's all!! but, when you (everybody) spent more than $300 (pixels a few less than 1K euro iPhone more than 1K euro) your expect!! It is: smartphone with minimum bug or any issue!! It's difficult to believing but it's %100 true:
My cheap android phone >>>> my Nokia's N.series (all of them), GS2/GN4 (Samsung), X10 (Sony) finally my iPhone 6S+ I tried to kill my cheap android phone but this phone never died!!!

All new phones are bad and will get worse over time. In 100 years we will pay 1000 euro just to make a phone call and then the device selfdestructs.

Also I heard that the USB-port is failing quite often. Everyone can easily find users suffering from these issues by doing a simple Google-search. My phone model from other manufacturer has its own set of usual problems too, no point trying to deny the facts only because I happen to own it. Sony is like every other manufacturer and their phone models out there - definitely not problem-free. :-)

for that i prefer the lcd :d

No wonder why Apple is starting to adopt Jdi's advanced full active lcd for most of the iphone X starting in 2018.

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2017My cheap android phone less than $128 and earlier about $70... moreMy best phones have also been the cheapest. Google's Nexus 5 was a prime example. Cheap plastic casing (much better than any aluminum or glass body you get these days). The phone's back popped off a few times from a few falls and it just snapped back in. Would not have been the case with a modern day "flag ship". The only issue was Google stopping support to push customers to purchase their more expensive Pixel lineup. Very Apple of them.

I can't recommend Google (ie pixel) or Apple (except the SE) phones until they get their act together and start charging the consumer what the products are really worth.. especially knowing that they are planning obsolescence in a few years anyway. Best to go with 3rd party brands like Samsung, Sony and LG.

I have to admit. This happens after you bump your phone to something and thats not even dropping it.

I place my phone in the pocket of my jeans and while walking in the office I accidentally hit an F-ing table and it sandwiched my phone between the table and my upper leg.

After the incident, the green line appeared. Will go to an apple store later to ask for replacement. Good thing I purchased insurance.
