In the past: LG produced phones with issues, other OEMs had no issues.
Present: LG produces high quality, non-issued phones, other OEMs got a lot of issues.
Of course, there are exceptions!

Just go get it replaced at Apple with no hassle..Try doing this with an Android and you'll be waiting weeks for a replacement..

Difference with other manufacturers: AAA service from Apple. If your iphone develops any serious issue, they'll fix it very quickly.

I think this problem is caused by faulty assembly of the screen with the motherboard, I have disassembled some tablets, and when you do not press the connector in a uniform and tight manner, this is exactly what happens, lines appear

After the ugly UI line at the bottom,
the lame, unintuitive gestures,
and that insufferable, protruding & ugly notch,
surely you couldn't be bothered by a green line.
After all, you paid ONLY $999 for it......

When iPhones have bugs and issues it's ok cause it's Apple and they used new display technology or whatever, so it's to be expected, but when it happens to the Pixel they're condemned for it, on this website specifically. Where is the journalistic objectivity? Apple messed up, and Google did too. Don't try to downplay it because you **** ride Apple.

Why noone gets that this is a feature, to let the users know where the edge of the display is when the screen is all black..you know otherwise users would think their new phone has no bezels at all, coz apple said it is an "all screen device"

I watched Techrax video where his iPhone X's screen completely went green and started flickering. So, I think...no iPhone X, no Pixel 2 XL.
Note 8 is best.
