Make only that small jump means they focused on other areas just like intel with their x86, s8 camera beats the other cameras(it beats the pixel2 still, please compare the samples on this site, i do not own a s8 neither a pixel2), the screen is cleraly superior to previous models and so on. those who own them or have experience with them can help more but fact is not all about your antutu number

Nobody wants to pay extra if he dont need to.
But people are mutually forced by this global companies.
Like to having no jack which is future of mobile phone technology.
Same for wireless charging soon phones will have no visible charging connector.
And so on.
Somefeatures which were implemented are permanent and some not.
Like when european uninion unified in may of 2012 micro usb as standart charging connector for all the phones.
And now USB-C is typical for 30% of the phones.

Because only clumsy people use phone during rain and when you are not clumsy your phone cant get killed by water damage. You dont need to worry and this two feaures along with Samsung Logo makes your phone 40% more expensive than MI6 also Iris scanner which is another stupid feature like fingerprint sensor.
Any security app from android store could do same trick for free, No need to pay extra for stupid feature.

And the S8 did not just come out. And the Note 8 price has nothing to do with the S9 release or price. The S8 came out about march or april. And the S9 will be almost exactly a year later. Just like any other flagship release.

How can Samsung expect consumers to pay 1300 AUD dollars and some depending on the Samsung phone if the S9 is coming out in a few months .these phones are way over priced as they are superceeded within months S8 note 8 just released and S9 round the corner . No thanks Samsung I am not wasting thousands on a phone only for a newer model to come out within months rendering my phone old and outdated .

It's right there in all the performance charts. It's not a false claim that Exynos 8895 was hardly an upgrde over 8890 performance wise. I honestly don't know what you're talking about ... I'm using charts (to most of my posts) for a reason, so that to not be called out every now and then (it gets boring, especially since all I do is report the truth as tests clearly tell)...

There's no mini since S5. It's not going to happen. There was so many followings on S7 mini back then, and now everyone no longer looking for small phones. S9 mini will not happen.

And the chips used in androids are still very powerful and increasing. There is nothing that will run on apple chips that others cannot run as well. Especially since you are just speculating about future things which androids will then also be using newer gen faster and more efficient chips then the ones they are already using.
Apples is just faster right now. All you bias fans say this as if the exynos and qualcomm chips alone are slow or something
