15 November 2017
Google does a good job of protecting the Play Store, but sideloaded apps and third-party stores are a common cause of infection.

Carol, 18 Nov 2017I read you comments and the hole time you said nothing inte... moreAgain false claim from your end. Windows OS is also under attack. Nothing new. Again, like I mentioned, security updates reduces vulnerability. You claim to be a Pro. You should have known. Windows 8 and up shares common platform with mobiles. So the Mobile is as susceptible to Hacking/Virus as a PC. The Windows 10 surely has better security updates. Hence he difference. But, yet again, attacks by ransomware largely hit Windows OS. If you read news, you should have known. I'm just an uneducated stupid Anti Virus programmer, who makes software for the non compromise Windows OS.
You know what I mean ;)

Even if there would have been 99% of windows mobile users there would have been little to none infections to -0. The gates are closed! You have to understand how cracking works to sustain such claim;).

Windows phone had no option to install apps outside stores and is way more locked down they any android. Windows 10 opens a small gate for developers to test their apps on the platform without submitting it in store. And for that some steps need to be taken, while warnings pop up. Windows mobile and ios are sandboxed. Means the apps run in containers, they cannot infect nothing but themselves. Cause they have no bridge to cross. So, as i was saying. Only understanding this, android is way more vulnerable then ios and windows 10 mobile,

Since when controlling everything you do to stay safe, is better then doing nothing and still be safe as safe can be? Windows mobile, ios. Ultimate security my a**. And here is not only about store, is about everything one can do with android and about third party stores and all the options the average customer has for installing programs on their devices. It is in fact a warning;).

rk, 16 Nov 2017you don't know what you are talking about.. maybe you can d... moreIt's a true fact. More Virus / Hackers work on cracking Android because more users use the OS. That is exactly why timely updates and security patches are required. In countries like China, mobile networks are restricted from direct security patches from foreign servers (Manufacturers security updates), which makes them more susceptible to attacks. That's all.
