You can find burn-in etc problems on OLED. TFT LCD also not that durable. The IPS LCD is durable because it backlit rendered the light equally.

U... moreOLED is OLED, no matter who makes the panel, OLED will suffer the burn in issue and no matter what the pixel arragement is (even LG OLED TV with WRGB) , because the organic material LED itself that makes short lifespan. (Correct me if i'm wrong*).
And if u want an alternative self-emissive display like OLED, micro-LED is the answer.

hope this also fixes the Wifi connection issues (once the wifi connection was lost it couldn't reconnect) i think somehow related to using Stamina mode) in the XZ1 compact

U see, because of all the problems that they cause like on the Apple with SAMSUNG's AMOLED, it makes me feel like QLED would be a better choice for the display instead of OLED. Even though it is another LCD, at least it won't have burn-in issues etcetera after a few months of use. But I am hoping that if they really used the OLED panel from JDI I hope that it will be better than other OLED panels with no burn-ins

Eveything else in Sony phones is made by third party companies.

We didn't even deny that this distortion problem exists, but we only said that it is normal and Sony will fix it soon. But many of the people are cumbersome and act as if Sony would never actually fix it.
Now they fixed it, you people still have something to hate on. Come on.......
