Its amazing how gsmarena dont even mentioned other 18:9 phone like LG and such. The world of 18:9 is always Samsung or Apple for them.

No wonder the button for the zoom-to-fit function in my S8+ disappeared. Took me days to figure out whether it was really a bug on the phone's software or the app itself...

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2017I watch video with black bars rather than cropped video.. Or better jet, just try to avoid 18:9 screens. I do, along with all the other ridiculous compromises, like lack of 3.5mm jack, curved screens, notches (And everything Apple).

LOL cropped is even worse than having black bars.
18:9 Is just ridiculous. Smaller than 16:9 and even smaller if you have black bars.
