17 November 2017
Vapor chambers are more efficient but are too bulky for phones right now.

Be Nice To Others, 17 Nov 2017And hopefully this solution would be the standard for flags... moreAnd then the phone will cost $1200 and the cycle of complaining and whining about the price will start anew.

And hopefully this solution would be the standard for flagships, just so that heat pipes would be passed down to at least the mid rangers. Two aims right now are
1 - Reduce the silicone size to 1nm and
2 - Implement this new heat dissipation solution on smartphones

Once those two above get achieved, we could hopefully have high end PC-like smartphone with stellar battery life.

vapor chambers. Dam, even i didn't know about that. Just googled my GTX 1070 and it uses vapor chambers too. no wonder it doesn't heat up.
I would like to see a smartphone with that... We might come close to PS4 performance in mobile in 2019, who knows

Just found out my Z3+ has heat pipes.
          Not only Z5.
          It is beneath mother board.

Sony uses now graphit layer. Is it better than copper heat pipes?
