Smiles....the pixel 2 makes crazy crippling noise, the oled on the pixel2 xl has burn-in image (shadows of your apps etc showing at background).....
Note 8 cool, very cool but help me place it near HTC U11 and play sound from both, the note 8 will hide it face.
This year HTC has got everything right.....

At this point HTC's only problem is the availability. There is no where I can find this phone and especially the translucent one really interests me. But by the time it will arrive to the markets this phone is already old with the specs and have to go head to head against galaxy S9

Kareem, 25 Nov 2017Bro, you can be hesitant about the U11+ except you wanna ig... moreI have looked at the mate 10 actually, and Personally i prefer the 5T, I stated that I liked it for the Amoled screen, some reports were saying the u11+ wasnt that bright in outdoors sunny weather.. and i like the build quality and oxygenOS and the price, plus the cameras are good...not note 8 good but still good...btw the Porsche design mate 10 is a ridiculous 1240.00 ...and i dont like Huawei software as much as sense or oxygen...

I expect you to compare U11+ with like of Huawei Mate 10 Pro Porsche Design, iPhone x and Note 8. The 5T isn't this class of course it's a good phone. It has 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~401 ppi density) compared to the QHD+ on the U11+ which puts out 1440 x 2880 pixels, 18:9 ratio (~538 ppi density)......
And more features the one plus 5T can't come near, give great kudos where it supposed to be, using a bad one word to finalize a praise is as good as no praise.

ufoman, 24 Nov 2017It's been actually much earlier, around when they would not... moreMy fav all time phones were the Htc One X ? think it was the first Beats partnered handset they put out stamped in red on the back of a white handset...looked so good !! Then I got the HTC one (m7) first metal one they did maybe ? managed to get the Red variant ...stunning !! had an lg g4 the last couple years and while the cameras are amazing on it, I miss the quality build and software of HTC...thats why I'm almost pre-ordering the U11+ .. but the 5T and V30 have got me hesitant ... especially the 5T with its Display, aluminium frame and OxygenOS.... tough call ...

I think... moreIt's been actually much earlier, around when they would not put entire 1GB of RAM on Sensation, had single core CPU in Sensation XL, Sense 3 was bloated to all hell, and their update policy was the worst. Using Tegra chipsets in phones hasn't helped them later, and they pretty much kept all their arrogance and bad pricing right up to One M7. Things were great with One M8 also, but then One M9 had S810, and everything went to shit again. I chose not to buy 10 due to their design choices, had no need to buy U11, but now, they even got the battery right, got rid of capacitive buttons, and put fingerprint scanner where it's supposed to be. That's why I've preordered U11+.

It may be disabled software wise since you also have to enable the OS color to be displayed/configured in HDR which can be done by a software update. Bottom line is if the hardware cant suppport it, no software can make it happen, the the normal U11 doesnt have a 10 bit panel.

OP5T is not on the same level with U11+ and V30, this more obvious are on camera and audio departements.
Speaking of the latter, I also really want to know the difference between these two best sound on Android realm.
My preference is deep bass, I know it's personal taste but would be interesting if someone can make youtube video comparing them side to side.
On screen wise, I'm bit surprised to see that U11+ super LCD is more vivid than V30 POLED screen. The later looks dull and washed out compared side by side.
You can check yourself a video on youtube "LG V30 vs HTC U11 - Speed Test! Which is fastest'. ...It shows HTC U11 superior screen compaed to V30
And HTC U11 beats V30, S8, Note8, and iPhone7+ on that speed test *spoiler alert
On handlings, HTC U11+ is big device and OP5T won on practicallity, but you may sacrifice a lot of other things.
To me the quality is between U11+ and V30, depend on the person's priority

Can't wait for the full review, I cant decide between 3 handsets at the moment, the U11+ , OP5T and the LG V30 ... can you do any comparisons in the review between the 3 ... does the U11 feel "chunky" compared to the super slim 5T ... Ceramic black, I was so dissapointed that the Amazing Silver was only being sold in Taiwan/ china not here in the UK... but ... is there colour shift in the Black back panel ?
How good are the Usonic headphones compared to the V30 .... Compare the U11+ Slcd6 screen to the 5T Amoled screen for vibrancy and useability in bright light / outdoor sunlight.
