just turn off wifi scanning and bluetooth scanning options thats it. and also goto security >> apps with usage access and turn off google play services and google play store.. thats it. google no longer able to collect location data... happy with lineageos + pico google apps

It become natural that Google as a browser and Android company product is currently unsafe, the Google browser itself automatically sends user data to the center and obviously it's not secure, how else with an open source Android device that is clearly not entirely secure with without privacy and also malware, myself also as an Android user feel it is not safe like there is spying on, don't know what it from Google, Google should really care for privacy issue, remember that user android total is billions user, it should soon realized with more secure.

When you activated your phone, you gave all permissions without even reading the fine print. There is nothing called privacy. They can track you to the last metre if you have your phone. How will you know if apps are recording your voice, using camera, when everything can be activated remotely? Real freedom without a phone....

They can tell you all the lies they want if you can not contrast them. Therefore, Apple customers are parishioners, because they can only have faith. They can not check things with the source code in hand like us on Android. And no less true is that Google is also working on its own closed system while maintaining a parallel compatibility with Android. Time to time.

If it really the case, maybe they just buy the data off from google because basically that's what google do as side profit, selling statistics data. No matter what OS is you're using, your data is bound to be collected. I don't like it though.(make me feel like living in watchdog world where google is the CtOS)
Android is free, but the service is aren't, one can have Android port to their device but in order to have all the necessary service and certification for play store, they need to pay

Big surprise, Android is sending your usage patterns back to Google. If you don't want it, install an app such as Blokada, it's free but not in the Play Store (for obvious reasons). It blocks ads and a few hundred of requests towards Google every day. Another option is an app called DNS66, same principle. You don't need a rooted phone and even your battery will last longer because the phone won't talk to analytics providers all the time.
Anyway, I don't care too much if a company in another country across the ocean knows where I'm walking my dog, my operator obviously knows the same thing and I trust Google more than them. :-)

That's why rooting is there... correct me if i am wrong...dont install any google apps to avoid this kind of security flaws... there's Lineage OS to be use.

I switched between Android and iPhone a couple of times in the past, but for some reason I trust iOS devices more, and I'm planning to stick with iPhones from now. Whenever I use Google's products I feel like someone is spying on me. I've read articles on internet that on Chrome they can make it possible to turn on the microphone to listen what you are doing. Android is a free OS. They earn their money by selling almost every single info about you, what you browse, where you go, the info in your GMail account and sell that info to advertisers to earn their money that way. I'd rather pay a little more and use an OS that isn't based on this principle of earning money the way Google does it.

Has been, still is and always will be. Location linked with user accounts linked with biometric profiles linked with contacts linked with all Internet activity. The info will be used sooner or later, its in the collection and processing 0hase now

Google has the right to do it, we agreed to their terms and conditions for using their services. Take google Maps for example, it wouldn’t have the most “accurate” traffic data if it weren’t for all those android location data out there.

If there is only a WiFi connection then from what "cell tower" is the "package of data" sent to big G?
