You guys pay yourselves sore for these little things. Remember the actually good things in life.
Better to buy a quality, budget phone and save for a vacation with your family, loved ones or friends!

The fps on the front is needed when the phone is on the table! You don't have to raise the phone from table to open it.
(Facial recognition is also a pain to use if you have to wake up the phone, it recognizes you, and you have to swipe, and then it's opened - I just want a quick, simple touch)

I hope they can hear my prayer ( needs a bigger battery in the Samsung Galaxy S9 n S9+ at least a 3500 milliamp battery for the S9 and 4000 for the S9 plus that would be awesome and it would make a lot of us very happy we have a phone that has endurance unlike the last year's model or this year's 2017 model they just gives you an 89 hour battery time with GSM Arena testing I want a battery time like the A7 2017 that would make my day I am planning on buying the S9 Plus as soon as it comes out on AT&T do not disappoint me with no stupid TINKY battery

This is a lame decision and I don't approve It. Bloody copycat of Apple strategy start to completely annoy, one of the greatest idea and phone of 2017 was S8 and S8+. Exactly same features just different size, depends on the taste, but you get equal devices, best strategy. People choose only size, now like ****** apple will milk people for nothing. You will need to compromise size or better features, shame on Samsung, I hope people will both of this idea and will not buy S9

Another Samsung story, smoke an mirrors, with a big "pretending" of a$pple , teaching Samsung to put more ram in a phone section, lol Naaa tell us about a$pple copying samoled and buying a Samsung screen for thier slyiphone, then aestheticaly ruining its function to pretend it is 5.85" when its only 5.35" + 2x ugly lugs, just to fit in a spycam.

My expectations are, most features from Note 8 (excluding the bulk and s-pen), newer & better slow motion recording modes, stereo speakers with solid loudness & quality...
If they manage all this, then my cash is like the ashtray's ash... on the table!!
Because the 720p@240 fps is being carried since S7. Long time, right?

IF S9+
- will have UHD screen (to get a usable VR experience)
AND
- will have at least 4000 mah battery,
AND
- will have dual fingerprint sensor (one on the back, one under the screen)
AND
- will have a 16:9 ratio camera sensor with at least 16 Mpxl (preferably 20 Mpxl)
AND
- will have stereo speakers
THEN I will definitely buy it (preferably when it drops to 450 USD)!! These are the much needed features for a REAL FLAGSHIP in 2018.
Ram and CPU are irrelevant.

in every year there are something new brought to user. tech enthusiast love to check what is advanced and don't mind to pay once a year. from what is reported in the article, totally nothing new, if compared with the past few years.
S7->S8 was a huge upgrade, no wonder S8 price was much higher US$750. S9 could not charge same high initial price if it is nothing new. ram amount, storage amount, micron process, cam tech, screen size/ tech/ resolution, should at least upgrade in one aspect.
