We had the same at Saudi Arabia as all dealers and distributes run out of stock after only 4 or 5 days from pre-order started

As for headphones i've been wireless for the last 4 years even for pc gaming, so no 3.5mm jack is no problem.
In around 3 years you will struggle to find a headphone jack on a phone, just like removable batteries.
Either move with the times or get left behind, it's your choice.

Seems like Huawei's commitment to better updates is bang on.

As for storage, 128GB is enough, but that's not the default option and you'll have to pay for that.
64GB phones nowadays usually have just 48GB, which is not enough for me. My music takes that space, so what's left for apps, content downloading, recording videos?

Every one is asking about 3.5m jack.Since 2 years i am using only wireless headphones.now a days cables are no longer use.and 64gb hdd enough to use 1 year.any way we have free cloud/hdd storage to backup.128 gb is more than enough.

Sorry to hear that. People are hopeless sheep who would accept anything the greedy companies are pushing, including the removal of 3.5mm jack, it seems.
We'll be stuck with crippled and overpriced junk forever and there will be no decent options because of all the sheep.

As of my opinion it was a stupid move to remove it, but that's what it is now and Huawei are not the first ones to do away with it. At least them they are giving a choice with the regular Mate 10

Huawei remind me of Samsung. Good looking phones with a pathetic UI that takes forever to get any soft of updates. My wifes S7 Edge is still on 7.0.1 lol.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro looks like Galaxy Note 7. I'd really prefer to buy a dual SIM Mate 10 Pro that looks like Galaxy Note 8 with 3840x1440 resolution at $900.

Some people don't care about the 3.5mm jack or the expandable storage. The 1080p is fine as long as it's a well tuned panel. It's HDR compatible too so it should look crisp. Resolution isn't everything. If it is, go buy a 3k panel on a PC from a random Chinese manufacturer and talk to me again about resolution mattering the most.
I would prefer a great 1080p panel rather than a shit 1440p panel we've seen in some phones
