Sony Xperia X Performance now getting Oreo

Before I upgrade my wife's phone, and to those who updated to Oreo, how is it running? Any bugs or slowdowns? Is the camera performance better? It is sometimes sluggish to open or close in Nougat.

Hate to see this but can't we just appreciate Sony for their recent focus on quick updates? As an OEM, they are doing their best as of now but if we still have to crib on this as well, nothing is alright in iOS or Android at all! No other manufacturer is able to match Sony for now but in the world dominated by Apple and Samsung or Xiaomi/One Plus etc, we can't appreciate an OEM on a roll. Anyways, Sony keep them coming!

Love my phone.
Love Sony....gave me Oreo prior to almost all other 2017 flags. :-)
Love my batterylife of 1.5 days with 7 hr SoT at it. :-)

Imperator Neubaticus, 27 Nov 2017I doubt an oreo update will improve much its dismal battery... moreX Performance does have a great battery life to begin with. Oreo optimizations will improve it further. It's not like this update can turn a 1 day battery life into 7 days of battery life.
And what doesn't fit in the name of the phone? As far as I know, this phone managed to beat the S7 and S7 Edge of last year in speed and overall long-time performance.

I doubt an oreo update will improve much its dismal battery performance. Such a disappoint. Doesn't fit its name.
