        So could screen protector or tempered glass affect it?

          Why? They aren't going to use it anyway. It was set for s8, but still nothing. Useless patent, since they aren't going to be using it.

            This would be the best position but what happens when you put a tempered glass??

              Interesting times ahead

                Best implementation of under screen fingerorint scanner. Galleries, contacts and messages will not appear if the phone is not in the owner’s hands. If an app with sensitive information is clicked, like one for online banking, different screens will appear, depending on who pressed the screen. That kinda things is what I want. A phone that knows the owners hand and doesnt work on other people hands even if the phone is unlocked. So, where is the foldable phone and graphene battery, Samsung?

                    Now one of many wishes for S9 is coming true. Next is;
                    1. Quick Charge 4+ (same as the Nubia Z17) or possibly QC 5 for the 845.
                    2. 2:1 ratio (18.5:9 is too tall and it should've chosen a standardized ratio of 16:9 or 2:1)
                    3. Flat screen. I don't think anyone found a use for the edge screen. It's a fad and I hope Apple tried way too hard enough to make that a household feature.
                    4. Lessen the bezels a few more
                    5. Metal build on the back. Who uses wireless~erhem contact charging anyway?
                    6. Keep the 3.5mm jack and add a better DAC on that too.

                      This is something worth delaying the S9 for (if required), to get it right. Otherwise the S9 appears to be an underwhelming incremental upgrade.
