A device that does 100% of what you want always beats a device that does only 80% of what you want.
Whether it's iOS, Android, Apple, Samsung, Nokia etc is irrelevant, as the above depends on the person buying.

I see may Nokia fanboys here. Good for them to visit Samsung news. To all Nokia fanboys - why are you guys so agitated and classless? I appreciate a good nokia phone when I see one. I like the N9 design and concept. I don't bash a company just like you guys do. What you guys should do is talk to your CEO Elop and ask him what's wrong with Nokia? It's not Samsung's fault that they will topple Nokia by end of Q3/Q4 as the largest mobile OEM. Face the facts - Nokia stopped innovating. Tell me why else would Nokia's market share reduce so much? Only segment where Nokia still sells are low-end devices. One needs to evolve according to market and changing technology to survive. If things continue like this, not long before Nokia would be in major trouble. And all you guys bashing Samsung, do you know Sammy is the only OEM who manufactures most of the components themselves. They make their own display (they have more than 97% share of AMOLED display along with their PLS S-LCD displays), their own ARM-based SOC. Leading producers of NAND. One should give them credit that they control a vast part of the supply chain.

That makes it irrelevant whether the choice is iOS, Android, Meego etc. As long as one device does more of what you want than another, which would you choose?

Tech wise, when you add up the details of the processor, camera quality, memory etc the GSII wins every time over an iPhone 4 - no competition. The only reason an iPhone 4 might be chosen over the SII is because of the apple name that comes with it and the idea that with an iPhone you join this exclusive club of 'special' people because of the products you own. The Galaxy S 2 is by far the better phone, lighter, faster, better quality all round so well done to Samsung for making the BEST phone ever!

You decide which product to purchase - not just because it is made by Sammy or Apple, etc..
You go for the product that best suits YOU!
Could you honestly see yourself in a situation where you purchase a product that you don't want / is inferior to similar products out there just because it is made by a certain company?!?
OF COURSE NOT (if you do, you need your head examining)
It really saddens me when you have people on here saying "this phone is better because it's Nokia or Sony or whoever" when clearly just looking at the specs it's not...
Of course specs aren't everything..
Some people prefer iOS, some people Android, and 3 people Windows Mobile... ;)
But don't just follow a company because of the name... buy the product because of INNOVATION... and to be fair Sammy is really pushing the boundaries of tech within mobile phones...
I don't think anyone can honestly say Apple innovates with their mobile phones, but, that suits some people..easy of use...
And poor SonyE and even HTC appear to be losing ground / always appear a year behind tech-wise...
As for Nokia...
Well, let's reserve judgement - the problem they'll have is not phone design and specs, it'll be operating system and whether people want a fairly limited experience re: customisation / apps and of course M$ charging well over the odds for games, etc. that are a fraction of the price on other operating systems...

You know... Iphone still has the biggest number of APPS but the question is how many do we really need or use? I'm an Iphone 3GS user and I find most iphone apps completely USELESS AND RETARDED. There are some so called apps which only show some pics of randoms shit and they are still counted as apps... LOL
Anyway I wanted to congratulate Samsung! Job well done! A really professional device. Iphone is for children and people with low IQs :))

Nokia have great build quality but its not the build quality that is the problem it has always been the software that it runs.
On the other hand Samsung flag ship phone costs alot of money but you really dont feel that you are holding quality in short it feels cheap.
but it runs quickly and the screen is great.
I am the sad Android user who is waiting for Nokia WP7
