Same problem with me for my BLU Life One X2 smartphones with OTA update has locked - it is asking for a password to unlock/login, but i have not entered any password and all the password like 4 digit default one 0000, 1111, 2222 is being rejected.
Luckily all the personal data was back up in google, finally, doing the factory reset.

So if I try seven times and it wipes out all my data will I be able to start over or will it still demand the non-existent password?

My stupid phone, it is not very smart, a BLU Life One X2, updated yesterday and is so screwed up that it will let me do nothing. I am currently travelling out of the country and I really need a phone, so I had to let it wipe my data and do a factory reset. BUT, the stupid phone will not run the setup program and stops working at a certain point in the process and will go no farther. This is very aggravating and totally rediculous since it came from the stupid manufacturer. How in the world could they allow such a thing to happen? They should have never released it until they tested it properly! If they do not fix this quickly, I think that we should all band together and sue the crap out of them. Seriously!

Ashuff, 29 Nov 2017you know theres only 1000 people who have BLU phones in thi... more1000 owners? Think again. They're actually far more common that you'd think!

And bashing them as junk... wrong again. When you consider the price point of BLU's phones they're actually pretty decent. Good hardware for the $$$ and very limited bloat ware (though Opera over Chrome pre-bundled is strange). The ones I've messed with have been far better than their price point.

sure they've had their software fork ups in the last year or so. but their phones haven't caught fire or required 15 MORE updates to fix the issues out of the gate. cameras don't suck on a $700+ phone and take months of promised fixed that haven't happened. no tie to a specific carrier (sorry Sprint and Verizon and your CDMA backbones you're out). Pick it up and go from T-Mobile to AT&T's networks when ever you want. Or even better yet since most have 2 sim slots use them BOTH.

plus this particular one can be fixed. calling it bricked isn't accurate. just need to figure out a way around that PW for people ASAP.

The option of factory reset would not work for me as i have too much on my phone to loose.
                              Thanks.

They release updates next to never and when they do they screw things up badly. This was said before and I'll say it again - don't buy BLU phones.
