Slayer, 02 Dec 2017Jeez, what is with all the haters and bile filled fan boys ... moreDo you think glass bezels can protect the glass of phone? Huge bezels(eg. XZ premium) or bezelless(eg. note 8) both phones can crack when you drop at certain heights. Watch YouTube drop tests.

Stop fighting! The only POS devices are the ones with iOS. The Androids have their pluses and minuses, but are good each in their own way.

You don't like Sony please go Fly Uncle Charlie's Kite off. I am not a brand fan but whilst I use the Note 8, not too sure about completely bezel less phones, I prefer something like the Pixel 2 XL, pity about all the issues but debating whether the gorgeous camera and smooth software is a worthy compromise. If Sony even reduces its previous bezels by half, I would absolutely take that. Bezel less is a fashion/aesthetic thing rather than functional plus a way of simply keeping the phone footprint down, for the most part.

Stick with whatever brand you like, stfu and stop bashing other brands. By the way, be sure not to drop those bezel less phones, screen repair costs almost as much as the phone. I try very hard not to drop my Note 8.

As if its something to be happy about. S835 joke is like a bonus. This is flagship to envy? Better 2000$£€ flagship worthy device, than something described here. Its very bad ad for sony, they should leak some good news soon if they Care.

But even then I know that trying 25% of something cannot be claimed as most of it. Thankfully I am not as technically illiterate yet obstinate. Farewell. I have had enough of your absurdity.

(Except for Z3+) Again, I will tell you why. Because Sony didn't throttle down the cpu. I actually owned a Z5 and sold it after 2 months. And yes, it had dual heat pipes...yawn....

Well good for you, if you can throttle down, who cares ?

Give me any android phone and I can tweak your kernel to throttle it when hot. No way Sony didn't know to throttle. It's just that Z5 was among the least heating S810 equipped phones then and didn't need aggressive throttling.

"Other brands that used the Snapdragon 810 throttled down the cpu to avoid overheating issues. Sony didn't have the R&D and thus the Z5 overheated. Same as the Z3+ overheated. Samsung avoided the 810 chip totally."

Meaning, Sony couldn't throttle down the Snapdragon 810 cpu at manufacture time. Or Sony didn't have the knowledge or technical expertize (R&D) to do this. Other brands had the R&D and did this at manufaturing time, thus avoiding the overheathing embarrassment that Sony suffered for years.

And yes I know it can be done privately, but most don't know this or are not interested.
