Fast charge only works with screen off or if the device itself is off. If screen is on or using the phone it will charge at normal speed (5V 0.5A to 1A)

As usualy they make a huge production wuith poor quality.
I wonder why people still buying their phones and other devices.

Same issue i had with s7 edge......it took 6 hours to charge full after the update.....i visited samsung store and they told me that its not software issue but i have to replace motherboard. I sold my handset....never again samsung......i suspect foul play. And yes s7 edge had such issue after update...google it. There is no authority to keep an eye on such corrupt practices.

I always do a cache wipe before updating my S8... I don't think I have this issue... I always turn off fast cable charge because the regular charge speed is pretty quick to the point I have no reason to use fast charge.. Not to mention that fast charging your device on a regular basis trashes your battery... I charge my device once in 3 days using regular charge speed and that should make my battery last for at least 2 years without an appreciable drop in charge capacity..

Their updates are actually designed to slow down their older models so consumers are forced to buy the newer lag free iphone. They also did the test on Samsung and the results were normal.

they push updates for the reason that every user upgrade to S9 :D because S8 will became lagy, unusable whit problems etc. etc. :)

Samsung adaptive fast charging is not as fast as dash charge by one plus and not even motor turbo charging. While Motorola has put this fast charging technology in it's mid range segment like motor g series( even moto g play which cost 150$) Samsung chose to put it in upper mid range segment (starting 400$ price A series) and flagship of course. Seeing all this one opt moto phones as these days they comes with a brilliant camera as well.
