It's confirmed, even after master resetting, battery drops 21% in 28 minutes, alarming and disgusting, I think R&D department is sleeping, never test, but straight upload via Ota. Quickly new 3.1 must be uploaded to save Samsung Reputation

M4C4R3, 02 Dec 2017If this was an article about the apple watch can you imagin... morevery true!
if it was an alcatel watch then comments section would be quiet and civilised, but if it was an apple watch then there would be many pages of comments filled with hate and hysteria.
its some sort of syndrome the human species suffer from......
if something is more superior to their own then they have to mock it to feel good about themselves. so all the hate only proves that apple is superior but haters wont admit it obviously.

True! and not only that the new update causing the watch (Gear S3) becomes less responsive, sometimes getting white screen, resulting to reboot. I never experience as such in any Samsung smart watches. This the 1st time. However the samsung new sport smart watch is great, and very responsive. But the Gear S3 I do not know what to say, and I do not understand how Samsung can release such a bad update.

I guess its partly because after Tizen 3.0 update Samsung Health has defaulted Auto-HR to continuous which drains a huge amount of battery. I switched it off and battery was much improved.

Just don't get it .. how come my 4 years old Sony SmartWatch 2 with a battery of 120mAh is good for 4-5 days with a screen always ON and those new watches with 4 time bigger battery cannot hold a day.

Yupe... after the Tizen 3.0.0.1 update and factory reset;
1) Battery drain at alarmed rate.
2) Battery stop charging at 94%. Over heated and need to cool down before continue charging.
3) Sometime 100% fully charged, the charging cradle still show red light and then the
battery self discharged at its own.
4) Latest Facer apps became not stable, intermittent self change back to stock watch face.
However, after force stop or updated Samsung Health, the condition improved a lot.
