Sony H81XX phones leak with 4K display, Android Oreo

Another series that has been revealed through UAProfs is H82XX. It's also Oreo-powered, but comes with 1080p display.

      Seriously Sony, produce a Razer Phone clone, and launch a Sony-only Playstation Store, and Sony phone only accessories. Then Android will truly have its gaming phone.

        Sony and bezeless are not match, but it would be something different. I hope Sony has OIS on their phone to take great "picture" while EIS is good for video recording.

            Yess slim bezels with 4k res 16:9 ratio ahh Im more into this rather than 18:9 since its tall and most media are in 16:9. hope it come with iris scanner that would be awesome!

              So Sony is leading the mobile tech in that regard here.

              And Mobile oled is just not capable of 4k resolutions due to physics restraints. Maybe on some enormeous tablet tho.

                            I own a Z5 Premium since early 2016. Having used this phone so extensively, I can vouch in all seriousness that this phone is a step above all android phones when it comes to daily use. Its wifi connection works flawlessly, cellular network gets me best speeds and absolutely no call drops on ATT network. Very good battery backup. It has never slowed even after using it for almost 2 years, no hardware issues till now. Speakers work just fine - though it is not the loudest. Screen is bright enough, though not the brightest.

                            It is a well engineered product that works as designed that gives you what you NEED. Only things that are not justified are the price and fingerprint sensor getting disabled in US.

                            Now, looks are subjective. So everyone doesnt admire Xperia's for the design. Hoevwer if you consider the practicality of this device as your daily driver, I dont think any xperia owner will say their phone is bad.

                            I own a ZTE Axon 7 and Galaxy S8. Though these devices are better with their own advantages, I am more satisfied when i use the Sony, just because how well it works.

Pentile shares subpixels and uses dithering to compensate. Yes they have high pixel count, but those pixels are not as defined as other RGB technologies. It also causes eyestrain for some. They definately have colour accuracy issues without proper calibration, the same as any other display.

                                    If new Sony phones provide these alike, it would be great. The ZL bezels were just the right amount, no more, no less.

Sony have the costliest phones without a good camera performance and providing gimmicks like 4k. Even their 2016 flagships costs too much while s7 has dropped considreably. Ugly slab like phones . Only good thing about them is unique design and they don't copy. *Period
