What the hell ? Has MS forgotten that Samsung sells a considerable share of their WP7 devices ? If MS has successfully pissed them, Samsung may just scrap their own latest WP7 projects.

Dunno exactly but is something inside...and is good the sue, that HTC is accepting pay that money and Samsung is looking some "discount", this means they know theres something wrong and agree to pain instead receive a full demand from Microsoft...that can be multi-millionare losses for phone companies..

AnonD-2103, 06 Jul 2011apple sue samsung, microsoft sue samsung... why? bcos samsu... morethat's wasnty the reason...They also sue HTC and LG, the problem is the use of Linux-Kernel, since ever they was violating Microsoft patents and rights, and Android is using the same....so is not agains Samsung is agains Google but since google don't receive money they sue the ones that uses Android...Samsung, HTC, LG, and so on....
Very smart move of Microsoft, if they patent rights, no one can use it if not pay for it...is like goes against piracy...and since they are violating rights, is one kind of piracy and they pay something, not soo big, but important enough to win some money :P
That's why I said PATENTS are everything, if you own patents you win the game....

I knew that someday the companies will gonna open their eyes and see that Samsung is copying everyone, Apple & Microsoft are 2 of the biggest companies in the world so Samsung floor is earthquakeing now.

Gin, 06 Jul 2011You pay samsung so that they can pay micro$oftI didn't pay 10 bucks extra for my Galaxy S II when I bought it last week. Samsung pays that for me. Samsung doesn't charge me extra 10 for what I purchased from them already.
