As expected.. iPhone X is doomed.. No amount of analyst praise can save Apple this time.. iPhone 8 sales also pales in comparison to iPhone 7.. I predict next year new iPhone is going to come early or else Apple's revenue will take a big plummet

Everyday is not Sunday, iPhone has crossed all norms of price increase, and people are giving it a shit
When X would be sold on installments, I envy to see that time. Enough as been secured by Apple.. Time was their junk sold by orders, not even more anymore!

I think it's logical. Just drop the news (or rumors) about how great the next iteration will be, and people (who won't upgrade their devices regularly each year) will hold their money for the future phone. This logic applies to almost all consumer products, not just a phone. What makes it worse is the fact that the tech evolves almost exponentially nowadays. Almost every manufacturers gives us a pretty big leap in terms of features and/or designs for each one iterations.

Oathbreaker, 09 Dec 2017iPhone X is more about compromise over choice like how iOS ... moreThe only comptaitor are Note 8 other are crap phones including 5T so. iPhone X comes with 3 gig of ram and still can keep with 5T that comes with 8 gig of ram and beats 5T in gaming performance, imagine iPhone X comes with 8 gig of ram then one plus phones needs 16 gig of ram to match iPhone X due to the weak processing power and Android that runs with crappy java emulator All OEM’s knows that how Apple knows to omptmize there software with hardware very well with less ram and less cores and the only android OEM that learned well from Apple Samsung. IOS 11 after 11.2 working well now every update Apple fixes issues with iOS 11 till things getting rite and they can do it cause there own OS unlike Android fragmentation the only phone get update pixel and other OEM’s some gets and others still stuck with old android version.

It was pretty obvious from the beginning this would happen...
After the initial rush of apple fanatics, demand dropped like a rock because most (sensible) people aren't going to drop $1k+ for a phone with so many compromises.
FaceID is slower and less reliable than touchID, the home bar and multitasking is more cumbersome than the home button, the incredible amoled display is ruined by an horrendous notch, the ss and glass construction feels premium but it's heavier, more slippery, more fragile(and expensive to fix). Oh, and no usb-c.
They just put jon ivy back in charge - guess now we know why...

I am not even going to engage with you on any of the specific comments (which I can, no point in doing it), but all
I want to say is good luck with whatever device you have. There are thousands of different types of people in this world and there are thousands of choices for everyone's taste. Some like Android and some iOS. Some like Samsung, some like Apple. I am an Apple Fanboy, and I dont have any regrets buying iPhone X. I have used it for close to a month now and I am very happy with the user experience. I do not comment on choices people make when buying the device they like, but I do pity on people like you who just write stuff without any research. I laughed at your specific comment on Face ID and when you compared it with Samsug Iris scanner and OnePlus (I am still laughing). Its better you remain uninformed so that you can make such comments and people like us can have a good laugh. All the best! Peace!!

Removed headphone jack last year not because it was courageous or make room for a bigger battery. They removed it to extract more money from their current users in their ecosystem. Apple has an accessories ecosystem within and they wanted to sell you $159 wireless ear buds.
Glass rears that cost $500+ to repair. That means they are forcing you to buy Apple Care+ or a case.
iOS11 is full of bugs and maybe the worst iOS version ever.
New Control Center is horrendous. Still no location toggle. No way to customize it and the screen is too tall to reach with your right thumb.
Face ID has shown to be easier to trick than Note8's iris scanner and OnePlus 5T has proven to be faster where it goes directly to the homescreen unlike the X's swipe up added step.
Notch when Note8 and 5T have proven they have faster scanners and the whole point for the notch is to put Face ID.
Note8 and 5T still have a fingerprint scanner on the back. X gives you no option.
$1000 and not the best in any meaningful area. Not the prettiest, not the best camera, battery life, and only the display is arguable.
Only 3 GB RAM or lower than the iPad Pro. Lost to Note8 and 5T with 6 GB in PhoneBuff's speed tests.
AR and Animoji is pointless.
Compromise after compromise to extract more money from their blind users. Phil Schiller said biometric security on Android all stink! No, Phil. Face ID is slower than 2nd gen Touch ID and the 5T's.
People are starting to wake up from this illusionist called Apple. Even if iPhone X is better than 5T, is it $500 better? There are better phones and better value out there that do things better than the X.

Looks like some sheep's are not as sheep's as you think they are, have to give respect for that. After all, buying phone for more than 1000 dollars which selling point is scanning ability of your face, with with massive notch on " suppose to be bezeless dispaly" and pathetic durability is not a smartest choice :)

Poor starving on the stre... moreYeah, if I saw someone with the X, I'd be really tempted to go up and say "Can you imagine if you got a mid-range phone, and put the money you didn't spend to a charity, how much of difference it would make. But instead you wanted the best phone for (probably) just texting, browsing FB and the occasional game. Add to that Apple is great at tax avoiding and uses cheap labour, so you can't argue that the money re-circulates.

But situation didn't change. Then it was speculation that it's because consumers are waiting for iPhone X to be released. And iPhone X was released, yet the iPhone 8 and 8s are still having an uphill battle with S8 and S8+, and iPhone X is having hard time with the Note 8.
Not to mention Google, Nexus, Sony and many other Android manufacturers pushing rellentlesly, and to top it - release of Galaxy S9 is just around the corner...
