Earlier they said IPhone 8 and plus sales are lower because consumers are waiting for the iPhone X. Now IPhone X is available but shows signs of low growth. That means overall iPhone sales are declining.

IPhone x demand in India has gone down.Last week had some pretty good developments in smartphone market in India by Flipkart. Pixel 2 was sold at Rs 11000/- discount and it went out of stock in a day. On the other hand IPhone X is still in stock for all the varieties. Even more interesting is that there is a discount of 5000/- by debi card purchase.All indicators point out that IPhone X hype is over. US customers complain that it is overpriced .How about India and Europe where average price for 64 GB is 1300 dollars.

I wonder who bought this phone.
Poor starving on the streets 1/3 global population dying on hunger and some clumsy people are willing to pay 1300 for a phone where chinese model for 1/3 of its price do the same tricks. For example Moto X4.

Lowering component orders this early means lower than expected sales performance. Many iphone buyers probably woke up from Apple's luxury and premium image hypnosis and realized it's more of highway robbery than technological breakthrough.
