But I have a suspicion that a new 450 could be used. That is pretty much a 625 slightly underclocked and would have a good price/performance/battery balance. If they go with the 630 then the nokia 5 I think would get the 450.

Nice to see over hopeful wishes in Christmas time :... moreActually before i wrote that comment i have already know the information from the leaks, nokia 6 2018 is gonna have SD630. I personally wants nokia 6 got SD 660 tbh. Its only my wish/dream of the ideal nokia 6.
The reason why nokia 6 2018 got SD630 bcause people screaming that nokia 6 2017 with Sd4xx is way too overpriced since there are many phones got SD6xx with dual cameras, and bigger battery at that price tag.

I was expecting Nokia 6 to remain in Snapdragon 4xx category so movement to 6xx was huge surprise...
It is like Samsung moving J series to use high middle range GPU... Why? there are other devices to that category.
What will happen to Nokia 7 that has same 630... Maybe they remove 7 compeletely (sensible thing to do)
Most sensible thing to see would
be Nokia 2 or 3 using snapdragon 2xx
Nokia 5 using snapdragon 4xx
Nokia 6 seems to be using snapdragon 630
Maybe Nokia 8 will use snapdragon 66x? But most likely 8 will be affordable 8xx
and Nokia 9 snapdragon 8xx with high price...
There is not much room to Nokia 7 in there...
But interesting to see... Nokia 6 was so huge step up that you just have to wonder in the price category also rice up.

Due to the timeframe, Maybe the Nokia 6 (2018) will keep the metal build but the processor will be at least SD626 or up to SD636.
The Nokia 7 (2018) will probably get SD660.
Remember, the 6 is the midrange, 7 is the premium midrange.

What i expected from nokia 6 2018 is:
-Snapdragon 652 or 660 with 2-3gb ram
-Front fingerprint reader and no rounded edges like the previous nokia6
In other word, i expect the same design but with better cpu

I heard that the Snapdragon 660 might be implemented in the 2018 version of this Nokia 6, which means it will have flagship-level performance, with better battery consumption. Looks amazing!

Hope the edges are round. I would have got pixel if it wasn't for the edge where glass meets back.

It looks shorter than this year's model but just as wide with the sharp edges. I was hoping for more rounded edges like the 5.
Anyone know if the 5 will have the same chipset as the 6 (2018)?
