Company HQ is different it is the central headquarter branch which is in Finland. Search for both "HMD Global HQ" and "Nokia HQ".
Any company can have any branch in the world that doesn't mean it is a HQ of that company.
Sorry if its hurt iam not doing sarcasm over here just telling that guy he was wrong he should search for the fake information which he was spreading.

Why don't you go to china and find company HQ with name HMD Global over there and update the wikipedia's page for HMD Global so we could clear our doubts as HMD is a finland based company(which is situated in Nokia campus).
Nokia bring back patents of lumia after mid of the year so give them time to have some innovations. Bringing such a big brand Nokia again is not a simple task it takes time. Write now they are focused on Nokia's durability. Their Management team of HMD Global are old nokia employees which there previous company were microsoft mobile as they have previously acquired Nokia's mobile department(not whole Nokia company). If you not believe on me just check their linkedin profile also see the linkedin profile of Juho Sarvikas and HMD Global previous ceo Arto Nummela profile.
So Just search before you comment. Technology have changed please update your knowledge bro

Are these ones to have project Treble, aside of been overpriced? Are the going to tell their customer only few months later: change your devices for the new models if you want to have Treble with it's improvements?

                    Snapdragon 845 for next Nokia 9 !!!!

AnonD-719002, 12 Dec 2017This is only Chinese company with Nokia name. They don't ha... moreThe firm that develops and build the current Nokia's phone is HMD. HMD's headquarter's in Finland, and their staff is mainly previous Nokia employee. They aren't a Chinese shell; educate yourself and learn to be open-minded before you speak.

And how do their phones copy others? Their sides are bezelless and they have top bezel. The only phone to look remotely similar to any Nokia phone is the Xperia XA1, but it is much more narrow and square-ish. Nokia isn't a copycat; accept that fact.

It would be fantastic if this was globally released in Jan, but it might be the same as last year and they released first in China and later in the West. That would be way too long for many people though. It's not fair that hmd didn't release the 7 anywhere else, so it could be that the 6 (2018), 7 and maybe 9 are China only.
I want the 6 (2018) and 5 (2018) in Europe as soon as China.

This is only Chinese company with Nokia name. They don't have any outstanding futures like before. The last real Nokia was Lumia 920. At that time people compared it with Samsung galaxy S3 and HTC One X. But today Nokia is nothing just copycat.

It is not a slap or stick point for me. Quite ok for companies to embrace features of another and combine it with their own overall take. Never liked Samsung old touch wiz, large logos, multi model clones etc, but recent ones are nice. Roll on January 19.

I consider 10 - 100 millions of users using S7 Edge and S8 duo many. Samsung covers the majority of the Android user base so once you've seen or have a curved edged phone, you've seen it all.

Nokia 9 design was cemented quite awhile ago. Whilst many phones have cross over characteristics. The 9 is a magic 140mm compact yet 5.3-5 screen. Perfect for pocket and hand without sacrifice. Legendary solidness. The camera bump, is big, must be a trade off for something good. Looks great. With the cover. So what if it has curved edge. Many phones don't, so it's a fresh take on it. Anyway, looking forward to checking out the super phone.
