HTC Desire Gingerbread update coming this month

I don't believe HTC at all. They have been promising and delaying Desire update for 2 months now, more like playing with us users to buy time for some other plans. They announced first to release, then refused to release and then realized the reactions of users will be very negative and so re-announced release plans.
I think HTC should be penalized for playing with our feelings.

I've such horrible experience with my HTC Hero :(
But now, I need not wait to update my phone. Bcoz, Microsoft will provide update for my phone as early as its available as long as my phone's hardware supported to do so.

I read on Htc's site that the wildfire won't be getting an official gingerbread update. It might be because of its hardware. I hope they come to their senses though.

Great news guys! I'm a nexus one owner. Love to have your ui, but don't want to mess around and lose some of my features if I ported it. Can't tell if gingerbread improves battery life. Which is really my main concern.

Moja, 10 Jul 2011HTC Sense???? No... It is now called HTC "De-Sense&quo... moreTo be honest, I hate Sense. I got the HTC Desire because of the AMOLED display and nice handset back in the day. I hope Ice-Cream Sandwich comes to Desire or HTC will be my last device from them. Probably say hello to Galaxy S despite the plastic material they use.

HTC Sense???? No... It is now called HTC "De-Sense" since they will downgrade the Sense UI to fit Gingerbread....
So next time buy galaxy s or xperia series so you don't have to worry regarding firmware updates... maybe this is the last update for HTC Desire.... So what will happen once Ice Cream Sandwich will be available? They will totally remove the Sense UI? So it will be called HTC "Non-Sense" hahaha...
