Wow!!! Almost perfect. Adding the Lg-like wide angel lens would be an all-in-one camera feature in the market to date.

Come on, Nokia. Bring us your camera expertise as you always had done in the Symbian and Windows phone days.

"So far no phone on the market does both telephoto and wide-angle." Wrong. You mean ultra wide-angle. Every smartphone has a wide angle camera.

AnonD-125986, 13 Dec 2017Just 1-second max exposure? I hope they let us do more.I can do as long as I want on my Honor 8. Though using the Pro mode the max is 30s, using star trail mode you can do as long as you want. I hope Nokia makes it longer.

I heard the man responsible for creating amazing cameras for Nokia including the Nokia 1020 is now at Huawei. That 40 megapixel three cameras must be his idea. I hope Nokia up their game in the camera department and design.

I think Wide angle + Telephone combinations exists even in cheaper implementations like infinix Zero 5 (available in India). So, it is not new implementation completely and also not necessary to be three lens combinations as well.. becoz you can get normal view (cropped) even with wide angle lens. Thus, Wideangle + Telephoto could be enough to do the same.

[This statement is to point the wideangle plus telephone things do exist only.. not mean to compare Nokia with Infinix models]

Is that 3 cameras I'm seeing? xD

I won't do much, with the camera limitations they use. Nokia, open your cameras fully, so we can use it any time of the day! Even with 3rd party camera apps, it's still limited to max 6 seconds shutter.

Bokeh is one thing.........these are completely different. And if Nokia actually manages to put in 3 sensors with OIS and large pixels in there, it'll probably be the most versatile camera setup in any mobile till now.

They do need to work on the app tho. 1s shutter speed in manual mode is laughable.....specially since Nokia markets its cameras so much. Upto 30s shutter, WB slider, RAW, etc should be the norm for their phones.

Android Central has an article about its problems.
It works great for focus and bokeh but it is not superior to dual camera.

HMD Nokia got the Lumia Camera app patent from Microsoft months ago. Can't they put more resources to the Lumia Camera app than their own Nokia Camera app? Or they're going to redesign Nokia Camera app to look and work exactly like the Lumia app?
