As a Peenoise, I can't wait for the iPhone 5G using 5G. I once had an iPhone 3G and it definitely have 3G but when the 4 came out and I was like wtf, no 4G?

It will be Nokia maybe Nokia 9 can get it we will see.
Anyway in some countries they barely know what internet is.
In my country a internet and tv provider i am using offers speeds of 2 to 5GB a second but in real i am glad when i have 500 to 1000 megabytes.
So having 5g doesnt mean you will enjoy maximum possible download and upload speeds.
Because internet speed is designed by milions of different factors.

Does SD845 support 5G? Otherwise it will be Huawei or Apple with the first 5G enabled hardware. Note 9 may bring it too if the Exynos is refreshed.

But Sony and Nokia are really unlikely if SD845 doesn't support it.

My guess is Sony or Nokia will first implement 5G in there mobile.

Still using 2g and plan in doing so while I can. Don't need or use mobile data that drains battery. Wifi all the way.

High chances that Nokia will be getting the first 5g device since they are actively developed in development of 5G network and they will do anything (of course good) to be first in huge landmarks like this.
Though Sony and Huawei are also front runner in this race

implementing the equipment and network wiring comes first! this will take some time! until then, the 4G/LTE would be more improved!

So we SHOULD (but we won't) start to see prices fall until the 5g release.
I suppose that this is irrelevant to the fanboys who update their phone every 3 months but for the REAL world it will mean a slump in sales for next year.
I was going to update next year, now I will wait for a phone with:
                                5g
                                Bluetooth 5.0
                                Usb 3.1 speed port
                                3.5mm headphone socket
                                3,500mh minimum battery
                                4g/32g WITH expandable storage
A screen that doesn't burn in (lcd for the time being)
                                NFC
                                Magnetic charge
                                Pureview Camera's, 2 front & 2 rear (hahaha)
Xenon flash & led both front and back
                                Dual front speakers
                                Fm transmitter & ir blaster
SoC 8xx snapdragon or 9xx kirin
                                So not asking for much,
Something old (Fm transmitter, ir blaster, 3.5 mm headphone socket)
                                Something new (5g, Bluetooth 5.0)
Something borrowed (magnetic charger, Usb 3.1)
                                & something blue (Xenon flash)
                                Hahaha

I think Huawei has a shot in the race. They recently did live tests in Canada in Vancouver, and these tests were successful, so they might already had begin working on a 5G modem. Also, they did license Nokia's patents on wireless tech, who did run tests with Bell about 5G not so long ago. So my guess is Huawei, unless we get a SD850 by mid-2018.

5G? The current 4G or 4G+ is just a baby n not yet fully utilized. Are the developers running out of ideas n for whose interest? Are the current devices equipped with the technology? Phones these days is also nothing cheap.

I would name HTC as the dark horse. They have been a pioneer to a good number of features so far.
