I had desire Z for 4 days before returning it,poor choppy 720p video recording was biggest reason..It is a good solid fone and had no other reason to dislike it but i do use the video alot and fluent video is essential for me..I also missed a d-pad and desire Z has no 4 way keys on keypad to compensate.Battery lasted with my use about 10 hrs but that was medium to heavy use..Its a shame really because i am now waiting for s/e xperia pro to launch in October and this would have put me on till then..

I own the Desire Z myself, good phone.
It's faster then the Desire.
Only downside is the battery drain.
I've read Gingerbread has a longer battery lifetime, so good they started rolling it out!

Is it true that 2.3.3 drains battery fast? i heard it has better battery management and makes it last longer. :S

2.3.3 have big problems with batterydrain on all phones! HTC should have upgraded to 2.3.4 because I fear battery now will drain very fast on Z with 2.3.3!
