Pretty obvious why the Note 8 has more popularity due to Samsung marketing 10x more than LG. Also why people hate on LG due to past issues with bootloop and cartoonish UI. Not one mention of the V30 bootlooping but Samsung is plagued with battery issues and you can just use the Pixel launcher. Unless of course you spend all your day going through the UI settings LOL. Sheep will be sheep.

We're ta... moreThe V30 has all the Note 8 has to offer (CPU, GPU, IP68) as a flagship plus Military Grade drop protection, FM radio, the best cellphone reception/quality (check Geekranjit's review of V30), is the LIGHTEST flagship available and IMHO the best form factor. The Note 8 in comparison is far too narrow, long and top heavy and could easily drop. It also looks comically stupid when passersby have it.

We're ta... moreThe Note 8 display is the best, agreed but not when many of the Note 8 phones I've seen have chipped and cracked the display. The V30 has all but ironed out the blue hue issues with preproduction and the screen looks great. I've had both phones in my hand as I work in an electrical shop and the V30 goes toe to toe and actually is better IMHO due to being truer to the 16:9 ratio and not insanely narrow! The Note 8 seems like a toy by comparison.

The V30 has a wide angle lens AND much more built in manual features. Futhermore, blind tests indicate the V30 is much better than the Note 8 when people aren't judging based on bias.

Don't agree with the poll as Note 8 is not the best phone among all of them. In my opinion it should not be included in this list due to its recent issues like battery and bleeding light from the edges

I don't think there's any bias towards Samsung.

We're talking about a phone, which has scored an excellent in Camera, Music quality, display, etc., where even the chipset is up there with the best. Plus it has a 3.5mm jack & dual cameras in the best implementation (wide+tele). Plus, IP68 protection. All basics covered.
Its hard to beat all this, but so much easy to say anything against the level Samsung has set for itself...

                        great observation :D :D

I just don't get it. How LG ended at 2nd spot while most folks in this world didn't even know it was exists at all. I'm working at fedex as encoder, during Christmas, no one a single LG phones were ship in our detabase, most smartphones that being ship are Samsung and iPhones. I seen Sony and HTC but that's is just a small count of their phones and no LG at all. In my country alone, There's zero LG's here. When I view the map, only small portion were voted here. Most folks here are using Apple and Samsung. No LG! I think Apple should be in the second spot at least if the entire world were voting. LG folks probably rushing on voting, they have steals the spot that supposedly for Apple.

I am a Note 8 owner and I love it but got the black and white 2 xl over Christmas, the update dropped in during set up and I cannot put it down. The thing is the user experience and fast updates plus the screen is superb, most people are simply ignorant DCI P3 screens and accurate colour reproduction. If you put it into saturated mode, the colours simply pop and who knows when the Note 8 would even get Oreo. Oh yes, it also has face recognition which works, don't hear anybody banging a drum about this nor would as I am not a fan.

Each to their own but unless you have used a phone don't simply jump on the band wagon. I have had no issues so far and if I have, I can always take advantage of the 2 year warranty. Oh yes, must remember to never let my Note 8 get down to 0% battery. Two of the best phones in the business for very different reasons.

I personally consider to buy a phone when my current one goes irreparably bad.. And i just go for what I can get my hands on before a purchase to get the true feel of the phone I've had very bad experience with an lg g4, but awesome experience with an s7 edge, hence my current glass brick is a note 8..not really rocking the battery like though.. Sigh..another thing that really factored in my choice was that there's a Samsung service center just 4km from my place

Still makes no sense that the iPhone X, same size as the S8, is considered a phablet but the S8 is considered a compact phone. And the galaxy s8 plus, Samsung’s best selling flagship, is not in the best phablet category poll.

.. and all the other flaws it came with out of the box. Not surprising.
