Bluetooth headphones!????
Bluetooth headphones are wareable now???
And it's the one that makes half of their "same prediction".
Hahhaha...
Gartner has some problems, i think....they really want wareable not to die.
By that logic, headphones with a cables are still the same product, still wareable...only not wireless...so it seems that we have had wearable last 60 ( or more) years, but we didn't know.
Nice job Gartner, nice job...you shoud just write how much decreased is than total sale in f.e. last 5 years (after Beats had it's big sale moment).
Anyway...wearables are dead.
At least those like smartwatches and other stuff that tries to do work that smartphone all ready do better...
We will wait for bionic chips, tat will be next big thing, and i am sure that Gartner will call that wareable too.

I'm actually loving the look of the hybrid watches.
Great looks and battery life to last up to 6 months.

Wearable is not kicking off very well from my perspective. The smartwatch is ok if it is less feature-rich. People rather spend time with their phone instead of checking their watch constantly. The dillemma of checking your watch or your phone is too strong and bothersome. I want a smartwatch that I can still treat like a normal watch - not constantly looking and toying around with it. AR is great but it is also not as 'wearable' as we expect it to be. We want to be conneected but we also want to be free. I dont want an ugly AR glasses on my face all the time but I do want to be connected to AR all the time. Do you get the idea? This is just my opinion. Wearables implementation should be ubiquitous and seamless. So far the implementation is more distruptive and disturbing. Like it is getting in my way rather than helping.
