samsung are now well on the ball for updates!
People always say HTC are good with updates but they're terribly slow lately! The samsung galaxy S has gone from 2.1 to 2.3.4 which is fab!
Bought both the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S2, both fantastic devices

Win, 17 Jul 2011Not exactly true. Not every Australian Galaxy S are actuall... moreUnfortunately this is not true. Due to Vodafone Australia's incompetence this advertised 2.2.3 release last week was in fact withdrawn because the update was not actually available and Vodafone has no ETA available. Obviously they are very embarraressed similarly they have major congestion problems in the Melbourne CBD which is only getting worse with the huge take up of Android fones by unsuspecting customers. This huge fone takeup but failure to provide adequate comms service in the end damages the brand Samsung. Samsung should sue Vodafone.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2011Bug fixes is standard with any updates and even Nokia does ... moreAnd I'm still waiting for Anna. Samsung is now faster than Nokia in the update department.

AnonD-3575, 17 Jul 2011most of the "updates" are bux fixes, so im not so... moreBug fixes is standard with any updates and even Nokia does that. Anyway, it's still better than Nokia's "catch up" updates which screams that S^3 needs some major UI overhauls and improvements.
