The s9 will be a perfected s8 just like samsung did with the s7. Maybe samsung will solve that burn in and cracking issue with s9. (I've seen hundreds of cracked screens even with cases and protectors). For me side bezels are annoying, not top and buttom ones... Also, battery capacity should be better. 3300mAh for s9, 3800mAh for s9 plus.

Now we can see the major difference in SX , completely new design, graphene ball battery, new display, under screen fps, and much more. S9 would be a minor update

Nobody says that Samsung's bezels are slim. Xiaomi's were slimmer and it's more than 1 year old. iPhone X is also one with no top and bottom bezels (has the notch still, but better than Samsung's wholesome bezels).
The "bezel war" is another one that Samsung seems to be losing. Mostly because fans and tech sites always gives them the benefit of the doubt (they used to lead, at this point they make the slightest change and everybody jumps from his seat).
