What i like: OLED screen, flat screen, capacitive buttons below the screen, 3.5mm jack, wireless charging, big battery, latest chips, high ROM and RAM, user control on the operating system and apps, strong build, water resistance, all the possible sensors, good camera.
What I actively hate: personal assistant, improved personal assistant, every type of personal assistant, things similar to a personal assistant, voice interaction, bloatware, system control on the user, preinstalled bs apps, intrusion in personal data, apps that need permissions to breach users life, curved screen, lack of capacitive buttons below the screen and their replacement with onscreen "buttons", lack of micro SD card slot.

Bigger battery
Return to 16:9
Standardisation of key location. I remember in cars the controls on the steering column for wipers, lights etc were all different from car to car. Then they standardised.
Please can we have the same so I don't keep switching my phone off when getting to reduce a video volume, or increasing the volume on my tablet when trying to turn it off?

Yonef, 07 Jan 2018Battery capacity! Back in 2012 (6 years ago) we had flagsh... moreWe are even going backwards. Back in 2012 you could have added extended batteries for the flagships, now not only you can't, but you can't even replace the original one when it degrades (Which is fast, especially with the fast charging),

Battery capacity!
Back in 2012 (6 years ago) we had flagships with 3000 mAh batteries, now 2018 we still have most of the flagships at about 3000 mAh batery! This is ridiculous, NO advance in 6 years.

Seeing how project treble pans out... Wouldn't it be great if updates came out quickly... Will just have to wait and see.

I'm not excited, because i know the only "features" we'll get will actually be more compromises. Less 3.5mm jacks, almost no 16:9 aspect ratio.
I voted for "fingerprint under the screen", but this is going away too, especially with the 18:9 gimmick/compromise.

960fps super slow motion.
But it will never be a trend until Samsung and Apple start it.
