Samsung must realize that the smaller S model, like the S9 is their main flagship model. The bigger version is not for everyone so making the smaller S9 less powerful and loaded will be a big disappointment for the customers, I am not gonna buy S9 if it comes with lower RAM and less powerful single camera in front of dual camera in the plus model. I'm definitely gonna buy the plus model even so plz don't do this mistake and keep the only difference between them as the screen size.

The reason why I left apple was the complete disregard to their smaller footprint phones. the non-plus variants always got treated like crap with their single, non-OIS camera and even less memory. Samsung is copying them for all the wrong reasons. I got the s8 and was really happy about it but i guess i'll skip the samsung camp too since they are gimping the smaller version with a single camera and less memory. I'll just wait for another company that would treat people who want a high-end phone with a smaller footprint better i guess...

I'm guessing 512GB variant will be china exclusive atleast at launch

The higher capacity versions will never make it to most markets. It's always been this way with Samsung.

AnonD-150040, 08 Jan 2018My 64gb S8+ has filled up 3 times in just a span of only 6 ... moreTo be fair, if you fill up storage with that frequency, merely doubling it will not solve your problem, just delay it somewhat. You'd either need an order of magnitude more room, or you'll have to revise your media management strategy.

My 64gb S8+ has filled up 3 times in just a span of only 6 months. 128gb should be the new base model storage.
