A capable single core processor for adequate memory makes tons of sense. it allows single thread CPU intensive operations like video playback and web browsing to perform great.
I have no idea of what thee appeal of "multi-tasking" on a small device is. when I think "multi-task" I think of operating the device and do something else. this requires buttons & oine at a time threaded operations on the device. xman

That other commenter's right. The hardware pimping are nice but why the hell on a bunch of S40s? imo at this point s40 and s60 need to die. Why not just put Anna in to scale and prep for Belle?

Still, we have no proof that a 1.2 GHz tegra 2 wouldn't be as fast or faster than exynos, or vice versa. With LG and motorola's poor coding and tegra 2's 1 GHz speed we will not know for some time to come.

1. Do you understand that SoC with better architecture can more effectively exploit performance of CPU and that's why I'm talking about SoCs!!!
2. Motorola ATRIX and Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100) use the same ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and thats mean there is no reason to compare thise two CPU's!!!
3. If there is two identical CPU's (ARM Cortex-A9 and ARM Cortex-A9) then whole difference is how and which SoC will better exploit performance of CPU.
CONCLUSIONS:
If there is two identical CPU's, then mine and esential difference how performance will be exploited from them is only in SoC and thats depend on architecture of SoC! Got it?

Some people are funny enough.
Too much complaints that Nokia phones are lowsy, slow, no new tech and too many cmplaints.
And now Nokia wants to make their base line up more powerful people complaints about "Why so fast" "Why so much power" hehehehehe

this doesn't make sense. Why would you put a 1Ghz processor and 512mb ram on something that can't even multitask. And no matter how heavy the browser will be, it just doesn't make sense. It will eat up the battery like there's no tomorrow.
