Same basic blocky and thicc design and same high price point too I'm sure, just the way Sony likes it lol

CPU is maybe same. GPU probably as well.
But still its your 32 GB diskspace vs 64 and 3gb ram vs 4gb ram.
For me its bright. A1 is better.
At least A1 is made of aluminium where your XA1 is made of plastic with aluminium frame.
So sorry we really cant compare that.
According to my country site www.heureka.sk which shows prices of all local shops in my country offering this device a price range for a XA1 starts at 220 eur cheapest and 389,46 eur most expensive and 18 different shops have this phone for sale in offer.
For a Xiaomi A1 28 shops have this phone for offer with a starting price of 208,43 up to 269,92. I am from Slovakia tiny country in heart of europe, and here is Xiaomi very popular despite its chinese company same stands for Sony.
But as you might see Xiaomi is not only cheaper but better in all aspects especialy price.
In awerage difference between 220 eur and 389 is 169 eur so in average your belowed phone cost 220 plus half of 169 which is 84,5 and thats 304,5 total.
Where Xiaomi is using same calculation at roughly 239 eur. Thats a huge 65 eur difference for a bit worse device. Thats to my facts.

1. False statement: S625 is faster then P20? Have you read the tests for both phones? S625 is equal to Mediatek P20, not even a bit faster.
2. False statement: 4GB of RAM is better then 3GB: actually, there is NO DIFFERENCE IN REAL LIFE.
3. Bigger battery, that is true. But again, you obviously haven't read or use these phones as you do not have a clue. Xperia managed 72 hours of endurance here at GSMArena, that is 9% less then Xiaomi. So this bigger battery has no advantage at all.
4. Did I mention to you that Xiaomi is 90 eur more expensive?
