As long as HMD providing fast update for 2 years update cycle why need treble? Peoples should stop acting like childrens -_-

                Why does anyone care? They're bootloader-locked. Whether they have Treble or not is completely irrelevant to the user.

                    I hope they do this because they are new and it costs much to do a research and implement it (treble is not just a software right? It is pretty much in hardware side).
                    Btw it is really not a big peoblem if Nokia can make Android Q update available for the 2018 phones.

                      This is prove that Nokia are just trying to avoid providing treble support by not shipping Android Oreo out of the box! smh

                        What is so difficult about treble that they are willing to create two different versions of Android one literally just to avoid treble
