Of course, many Android phones - Such as my Blackberry KeyOne, which gets monthly security updates - don't need a fix for spectre or meltdown because they use cores that are not affected. So, there's that.

I am using Moto X4 also a Lenovo Vibeshot and no bugs or problems yet with theses 2.
These so called top companies works very well against the people. And the chinese ones always prevail.

AnonD-675500, 10 Jan 2018Its better to check your battery health before updating..xDthose who complain have frequent update ...u can ignore update and choose to update later version as i choose to update at 11.3 or 11.3.3 compare to android no update at all... or max 1 time update only sad....... check with battery doctor...??? to to androids fan now we can change new battery very cheap 29 dollar and can use for a few year more ... lolll
