Allo/Duo product head leaves Google to join Facebook

Officially, Amit Fulay was the was Head of Product for Real Time Communications at Google.

Is it difficult to merge Hangout, Allo and Duo app together ! Why to install too many google app in a simple mobile phone. Multiple idea is stupid

Do they easy to use or they are unique or giving something new? No. All you can do in ONE app. Ever heard about Whatsapp? Oh, think you using overweighted girly Viber with shitty stickers and weird design for Japanese kids. Go grow first.

      I don't understand why google needs 3 programs/apps when they could have just used 1 app? The hangouts was good , they just didn't upgrade it or add to its features. Why do they need one app just for messaging(allo) and one just for calling(duo) ? And then they have another one that does both ( hangouts). Also, I have a problem with their nomenclatures. The calling app should have been called Allo ( to most people in the world this sounds close to Hello which is what most people say when they pick up their phones). Duo doesn't really mean anything and thats why the it will never compete. There was actually no need to release both those apps , they could have just released " Allo " and have it do both voice and messaging. Then they could have discontinued hangouts since apparently they don't like it.
