But we were speaking abount concept and concept of foldable phones was firstly made by Kyocera.
Machine made by Xerox 40 years ago wasnt a phone nor a cell phone actualy so.

Foldable is universally have been thought of by everyone by now. Not just Kyocera have this idea. The origin of flexible display goes as far as 1974 by Xerox PARC. So, you were saying this is stealing ideas? That is like saying smartphone manufacturer stole ideas from Alexander Graham Bell by making phone using his concept since 1876. -_- Stop trying to defend Kyocera. PS: It is not Kryocera. How many time have you spelt that wrongly.

I'm counting on foldable smartphone displays to correct the sheer idiocy that narrow aspect ratio displays represent. I still can't fathom how so many people can be so abjectly stupid.
My own brother tried to tell me that his Samsung Note 8 was "way bigger" than my Huawei Mate 9 (he was, of course, talking about diagonal display size). It took me simply putting the Mate 9 side-by-side with his Note 8 for him to immediately see how he's been bamboozled. Then there's this guy at work who actually tried to argue that his iPhone X was the same size. O.M.G.
Ironically, the very company that tricked mush-for-brains consumers into believing that narrow aspect ratio displays were useful will eventually prove how not-at-all useful they are. As I stated above, I'm counting on Samsung's foldable displays to accomplish this because, quite simply, an 18:9 or 18.5:9 display in "phone mode" doesn't unfold (i.e. double) into something usable in "tablet mode" (that is, unless perfect squares are your thing).
Of course, even if foldable phones never become a thing we're still going to see narrow aspect ratio displays exposed for the fraud they are. Why? Because phones like the Note 8 are already ridiculously long, even though the total area of its 6.4" 18.5:9 display is only equivalent to that of a 5.75" 16:9 display. If Samsung ever wants to put out a "bigger" Note or Galaxy S+ series phone, they'd have to increase the length of the phone to a completely ludicrous degree (they'll try this at least once before the tech press clues Joe-public in to their "revelation" that narrow aspect ratio displays aren't actually practical).
So here I am, sitting on an island with my Huawei Mate 9, wondering if I'll ever again be able to buy a smartphone that doesn't feature marketing gimmicks that completely hamper the user experience (COUGH!EDGE DISPLAYS!COUGH!NARROW ASPECT RATIOS!COUGH!SAMSUNG!).

BTW: ZTE M sold now by AT&T it's basically identical concept (less the sophisticated hinges Kyocera had).

What did they ever made? Kyocera Echo in 2011 is the closest thing to foldable theu ever did and it is not even the single display with flexible bendable screen Samsung is going for. Kyocera never even invent flexible screen. Samsung made Youm flexible display back in 2012. Your argument is ridiculous.

Accidents do happen, so a screen protector is always nice to take the scratches.
I do not think they have invented a bendable material with a hard surface - that would be a REAL revolution! Usually it is either scratch or impact resistance, not both. (That is why plastic scratches and glass breaks)
